No TV

Since we moved into our caravan we don’t watch TV any more. We’ve got a Freeview card for our laptop, but it just seems like a faff setting it up - at least, compared to just flicking on a box in the corner of the room. Plus reception ain’t great in a lot of caravan sites we’ve stayed at.

I can’t say either of us really miss it. I quite fancied watching Rome on BBC1, but we can just rent the DVD from Blockbuster in a few months time. It’s a cliche, but quite surprising how much more time there is in the day when you don’t spend the evening in front of the gogglebox.

Anyway, it means that I’m getting back into games (especially on our Gameboy and DS) and reading books. We thought we’d do a few reviews on this site for books, games, films, etc - hey, what else are we going to do with our time? :)

So here’s my first book review - Prey by Michael Crichton.
