Namaste - India 2006

I went on my annual trip to india this September. I try and go every year to visit my friend Rachel who has set up an animal shelter in Ajmer, Rajasthan.

This was my 2nd year and I was there just in time to enjoy the Tree Of Life’s 1st birthday. Here we all are at the rooftop party to celebrate!

Our rooftop party to celebrate TOLFA’s 1st Birthday

On my annual trip to India this year I was on my own. Pretty scary stuff but after my 2 weeks volunteering at the Tree of Life for Animals shelter I ventured north to Dehra Dun in the state of Uttaranchal. I went there to visit my friend Helen who was volunteering at a Christian Hospital. We enjoyed a day trip to Rishikesh and visited the temples as well as a bathe in the holy River Ganges.
